Nexans Power Accessories has released a new series of joints adapted to meet Australian/New Zealand standards.
The JTS series straight cable joints use a new triple layer heat shrink tubing with integrated stress control field, insulating and conductive tube in addition to a new dual layer wrap around stress control mastic plate technology which reduces complexity and installation time.

NEXANS GPH® MECHANICAL CABLE LUG WITH 2 PALM HOLES
Nexans Power Accessories has developed a new range of cable lugs based on the GPH® C-Series for all conductors operating up to 90°C and voltages up to 52 kV. The new series covers the metric conductor cross-sections from 25 mm² to 630 mm² and the North American range from AWG #2 to 1250 kcmil.

Palm design with a round and a slot hole ensures easy installation and fulfills European and NEMA standards. Other hole and palm designs are available on request, subject to minimum order quantity and lead-time.
GPH® C-Series cable lugs are longitudinally sealed; the barrel is filled with contact grease.
Dimensions of these cable lugs are compatible with the most common terminations using heat-shrink, cold-shrink, and slip-on technology. The surface is suitable for standard insulating materials.
A family test certificate for the GPH® M-Series connectors verifies compliance with EN 61238-1 for the conductor cross-section range 16 mm² to 630 mm². The scope of this certificate is covering the GPH® C-Series Mechanical cable lugs including lugs with two palm holes.
